THE BURGER KING! This is my friend, Anthony Burger,

who also happens to be the world's greatest piano player. He truly is the King
of piano playing, and also He has shown his fans humility, graciousness,
kindness, friendship, but most of all the love of Christ. To me, that is what
it's all really about. Not about how famous you are, or who you work for, but
Who you work for. He has let Jesus shine through him, and through his fingers.
He has let us be a part of his life on Gaithernet,

and I hope he realizes that means a lot to us. We are honored to let him be a
part of ours. So while I joke around and tease a lot, deep down I truly am in
awe of his talent, and am deeply touched by the way he has treated others. WELL
enough of that mushy stuff... here's to you, oh great one...the one and only... Since Anthony calls his friends Burger Buddies, here's my Burger Buddy poem
just for Anthony... Thank you for being there for us...and always know we're here for you...I
just want to take this time to say thanks for being our... He's touched the lives of thousands, And blessed that many more. With his singing and his laughing, But who is keeping score? It's not about how fast he plays, Or even just how well, But even both blow me away, I'm in awe, can't you tell? Up and down the keys he goes, Faster than you can think, And up and down he goes again, Before you can even blink. But his heart is what we see, For it is giving and it's kind. It's humble and it's gracious, In him these things we find. While his playing is fantastic, And way beyond compare, We're honored to have known this man, Who's love for Christ he's willing to share. So, Anthony, for those times, You're feeling kinda cruddy, Remember you have family here, Hang in there Burger Buddy!! WE LOVE YA!!! |
