My Grandparents

This page is dedicated to my grandparents. All three were special people in my life and taught me many great lessons. I'll never forget sitting on the porch with my grandfather and just talking about nonsense, but having a great time. I miss not seeing him on the porch when I go outside. He had a great sense of humor and fun stories to share. He was well loved in our neighborhood and was affectionately known as "Doc." Or going into the house to see my grandma Josephine, a woman everybody loved to visit. There was no one who knew my grandma Josephine who didn't have something great to say about her. She had a warm personality and good food to eat!! She was always there to talk to. Or my grandma Anna, my dad's mother. She was affectionately known as "Nanny no no." :) Why? Because she'd always correct my cousin (shown in that picture) by saying, "No, No!" She taught me forgiveness and how to overcome. She didn't realize she did, but she did. I miss them all and look forward to seeing them again one day. If any of you know who Vestal Goodman is, you will agree with me in saying, "Doesn't she look just like here? Even the hanky!" LOL Even "Doc" looks like Brock Speer. :) I wish you all could have known them. They were beautiful people, as "Doc" would say.
