6. About my poetry

This weeks inspiration:

God's grace. What an amazing thing. To think He would give up His Kingdom to become a mortal man, then sacrifice His own life, all for me...and you. I feel so undeserving of His love, forgiveness and blessings, yet He still gives and gives over and over again. I got to thinking yesterday, no matter what I do, or continue to do, He still loves me so much and will never stop forgiving me. To me, that is what love is all about. Unconditional. We need to learn from that. God is awesome. Sure, I can and have overcome so much through Christ, but I am still human. I'm glad He understands that. Lord, I love You more than words could ever express, and I'm so thankful for everything You have done for me. No matter what I do or say, even when I fail You...

You Keep on Forgiving

I don't know how You keep on loving such a wretch like me.

Through endless days of sinful ways, Your mercy still I see.

With all the mistakes that I still make, Your grace it sees me through.

Lord, You keep on forgiving me, no matter what I do.

You keep on forgiving me, no matter what I do.

Your compassion and Your mercy, every morning it's brand new.

Lord, I'm forever grateful for that day at Calvary.

For I know that You will never stop forgiving me.

Sometimes questions that I face, only help to stir my fears.

And then that's when Your quiet voice is all I need to hear.

Every morning that I wake, a day begins again.

And even though I'll fail You, You still say I am your friend.

You keep on forgiving me, no matter what I do.

Your compassion and Your mercy, every morning it's brand new.

Lord, I am forever grateful, for that day at Calvary.

For I know that you will never stop forgiving me.

ON THE LIGHTER SIDE -

LOL LOL LOL

A farmer walked into an attorney's office wanting to file for a divorce.

The attorney asked, "May I help you?"

The farmer said, "Yea, I want to get one of those dayvorces."

The attorney said, "Well, do you have any grounds?"

The farmer said, "Yea, I got about 140 acres."

The attorney said, "No, you don't understand, do you have a case?"

The farmer said, "No, I don't have a Case, but I have a John Deere."

The attorney said, "No, you don't understand. I mean do you have a grudge?"

The farmer said, "Yea, I got a grudge. That's where I park my John Deere."

The attorney said, "No sir, I mean do you have a suit?"

The farmer said, "Yes sir, I got a suit. I wear it to church on Sundays."

The exasperated attorney said, "Well, sir, does your wife beat you up or anything?"

The farmer said, "No sir, we both get up about 4:30."

Finally, the attorney says, "Okay, let me put it this way. WHY DO YOU WANT DIVORCE?"

And the farmer says, "Well, I can never have a meaningful conversation with her."

About my poetry:

We are all on a journey through life. Some of us get lost, some search for the truth, some have found the truth, and sometimes we all need a little "service station" along the way to continue on. These poems were written for that purpose; for those seeking to find life, for those who have it, but need a little lift, for those who have strayed and need directions back, and for those who just need a little encouragement. It is for every day living, experiences, heartaches that lead us to the realization that God is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. I pray my poems minister to your heart, and give you the energy, direction and encouragement that you need. If you ever wished to be removed, please send me an e-mail and I will remove you, no hard feelings. :) God bless.
