So sorry for two newsletters at once!! I'm going to TN this weekend to visit a friend and sing with her in a studio, and wanted to get this out before then. She put my song "Knowing You" to music and will be recording her demo with that song on it. She likes the way I do the harmony part, so God worked it out so I can go there and sing it with her!! Please keep me in your prayers for safe traveling and that the recording goes smoothly!! I'm a little nervous!! LOL I'll keep you posted and let you know all the details when I get back. Thanks for your prayers! God bless you all!! :)

This weeks inspiration:

This poem was inspired by my good friend Brooke. She and I have become, literally, best friends over the internet. We share so much in common. We are able to talk about anything, share any burden and lift one another up in prayer. I think that is so important when you are friends with someone. Although I share this same thing with many of my other internet friends, Brooke and I have the sames goals and desires. With our common interest, I would always tell Brooke, "Remember, we're in this together!" I believe God wants that same relationship with us. We tend to sometimes not include Him in our daily lives. God says, "In ALL your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." I love being able to talk to God about anything, ask Him anything, share anything, and do it all with His help and wisdom. I even ask God, sometimes, to help my hair come out nice if I go somewhere special. You know what?? He does!! Even silly things like that God wants a part of!! So, remember, next time you feel alone, God's gently whispering...

We're In This Together

There are times in your life when your future seems unknown,

and there are times when you can't face another day.

There are times in your life when you feel so all alone,

And you wish someone would take it all away.

You want to share your deepest sorrows, yet hide them all inside.

You're bothered by life's uncertainties, and just can't understand.

But then a friend reaches out to you, and says with love and grace,

"We can face it together, if you'll just take my hand."

We're in this together

Divided we fall

We're in this together

United we stand tall.

I know about life's ups and downs,

I've been there once before.

If you ask for help,

I'll give you even more.

The struggles that you face

won't last forever,

So, my friend, just have a little faith,

'cause we're in this together.

Your dreams about the future seem small and out of reach.

You feel unworthy of God's love to help you reach that goal.

But God has plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future.

And if you feel you're walking alone, there's something God wants you to know...

"We're in this together,

Divided you fall.

We're in this together,

United we stand tall.

I know about life's ups and downs,

I've been there once before.

If you ask for help,

I'll give you even more.

The struggles that you face

won't last forever,

So, my child, just have faith,

'cause we're in this together.

On the Lighter Side...

It is hard to understand how a cemetery raised its burial cost and blamed it on the cost of living.

We are born naked, wet, and hungry. Then things get worse.

The 50-50-90 rule:

Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.

It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end to end, someone would be stupid enough to try and pass them.

You can't have everything, where would you put it?

Latest survey shows that 3 out of 4 people make up 75% of the world's population.

If the shoe fits, get another one just like it.

The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.

Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat drinking beer all day.

Flashlight: A case for holding dead batteries.

Shin: A device for finding furniture in the dark.

As long as there are tests, there will be prayer in public schools.

When you're swimming in the creek, and an eel bites your cheek, that's a moray!

A fine is a tax for doing wrong.

A tax is a fine for doing well.

The only cure for insomnia is to get more sleep.

Everybody lies, but it doesn't matter since nobody listens.

I wished the buck stopped here, as I could use a few.

I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.

Keep in mind that whenever you go into court, you are putting yourself in the hands of 12 people that weren't smart enough to get out of jury

duty.

Light travels faster than sound.

This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

About my poetry:

We are all on a journey through life. Some of us get lost, some search for the truth, some have found the truth, and sometimes we all need a little "service station" along the way to continue on. These poems were written for that purpose; for those seeking to find life, for those who have it, but need a little lift, for those who have strayed and need directions back, and for those who just need a little encouragement. It is for every day living, experiences, heartaches that lead us to the realization that God is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. I pray my poems minister to your heart, and give you the energy, direction and encouragement that you need. If you ever wished to be removed, please send me an e-mail and I will remove you, no hard feelings. :) God bless.
