This weeks inspiration:

We all know, as believers, this world is not our home. Just a temporary place we live in until God calls us to our real home where we'll live forever. While we're here, though, we have an obligation to become more like Christ, and to share the Good News with others around us. We are never to force it down their throats, but be shining examples of Christ's love so that they see a difference and want to know what that difference is. If we can plant seeds in a person's heart, if they are one day willing, God will water and a new believer will be found. Don't get discouraged if a person doesn't become saved while you know them, because it's not your responsibility to save them, but God's. Some people have to get to the lowest point in their lives in order to find God, while others are willing and ready to know. You share, God leads, you plant, He waters, you pray, they're willing, God saves. I just don't ever want to hear someone say, "Why didn't you tell me?" I do sometimes wonder, when I hear of someone's death, if that person was saved. I truly believe that God gives us all a chance to hear His message, and it's up to us if we're willing to accept it. So, while I believe God gave that person a chance, I just have to pray they accepted it. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He also knows our hearts and the future, and knows, who will and won't reject Him. While I know I am saved, and cannot wait for the day when I'm truly "Home Again", I pray for those who aren't saved, and hope one day they can say, ....

I Am Free, I Am Home

The dirt had been dug,

it now lay on the ground.

No eye was dry,

as they gathered around.

The clouds in the sky,

dropped down the rain,

upon the brown casket,

where the silent soul lay.

One could but wonder,

had this person been saved?

Did someone share Jesus,

with this one in the grave?

Are they free, are they home?

is their pain all gone?

Are they free, are they home?

can they sing freedom's song?

The anguish, and suffering,

will they feel it no more?

Or was nobody home,

when Jesus knocked on the door?

The dirt had been dug,

it now lay on the ground.

No eye was dry,

as they gathered around.

The sun in the sky,

shone brightly that day,

upon the brown casket,

where the Christian soul lay.

There was no doubt,

that this person was saved.

Yes, they live with Jesus,

and not in a grave,

and they sing,

"I am free, I am home!

my pain is now gone.

I am free, I am home!

I sing all day long!

My anguish and suffering,

I feel it no more.

And Jesus was there,

as I opened the door.

Now that my life here,

has come to an end.

I am home with my Lord,

My Saviour, my Friend."

Check it out!

I found World Vision's website. Founded in 1950 by Dr. Bob Pierce to help children orphaned in the Korean War, World Vision has grown well beyond its child-assistance roots to facilitating the transformation of entire communities with water programs, health care education, agricultural and economic development, and strategic Christian leadership activities.  During the past year World Vision served well over 50 million people in 103 countries, including the United States...You can read A LOT more about it by visiting these few sites. If you do a search for "World Vision", you will find many sites around the world for this program. Here are two  for you to check out! World Vision International Gateway AND World Vision United States

Here is another great site to check out. Many of you have heard me mention my friend Jeanie Hutton. She is the one I recently went to visit in West Virginia. She used to have a website, that I've featured once before, but she

had to take it down for a while. It is back up and running and will be sure to bless your day! You can read all about Jeanie and see the reason why I became such good friends with her, you can see her tribute page to Mark

Lowry(who is he again? Apparently I'm in a picture with him on her website too. Mark Lowry, nope, name doesn't ring a bell! ha ha), or read about all the wonderful people that have had an impact in her life. OR, again, just see what a great impact she has had on mine and many others. She is a true blessing and I know you will love her. Check it out!!  Jeanie Hutton's Home Page

About my poetry:

We are all on a journey through life. Some of us get lost, some search for the truth, some have found the truth, and sometimes we all need a little "service station" along the way to continue on. These poems were written for that purpose; for those seeking to find life, for those who have it, but need a little lift, for those who have strayed and need directions back, and for those who just need a little encouragement. It is for every day living, experiences, heartaches that lead us to the realization that God is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. I pray my poems minister to your heart, and give you the energy, direction and encouragement that you need. If you ever wished to be removed, please send me an e-mail and I will remove you, no hard feelings. :) God bless.
