This week's inspiration:

So sorry for all the newsletters! You'll have to take it up with God...He just won't stop inspiring me!! :) The other day, as I was walking, by myself, in the building where I work, I started thinking about the concert and what God has in store. I started to get a little discouraged, that what if something doesn't happen or Bill has nothing for me. Or, after all this time I've prayed, hoped and waited, it still won't happen. The words "Just hold on a little longer" struck me like lightening. I thought about that. See, I have a terrible problem with patience. I'm sure MANY of you do. :) I hate waiting, and as we all know, that's the hardest part about God's will. I think He tries to teach a lot of us that lesson.  I've gotten A LOT better, but still can't wait to see what He's got up that sleeve of His. LOL. He's got a WONDERFUL plan for EVERY one of us, and if we just wait, He will open up the RIGHT doors...HIS doors...and see us through.  It may not just be His timing, or He has ANOTHER plan for me and for you.  He's never failed us nor forsaken us before, why would He now? SO, no matter what you're going through, God will see you through, if you...

Just Hold On

I was headed up a mountain,

to see what I could find.

The climb was getting long and steep,

I was wasting precious time.

The rope that I was using,

my hands could hold no more.

But God said, "Just keep going,

and see what I have in store."

Just hold on a little longer,

and my strength will see you through.

Just hold on a little longer,

and see what I can do.

I know it's hard to fathom,

just what I have in store.

But My grace will keep you going,

til I open up the door.

So, what I take you through,

is just to make you stronger.

I am working out a perfect will,

so hold on a little longer.

He will take you to the top,

if you just keep holding on,

Remember what you go through,

is just to make you strong.

He'll see you through tomorrow,

He'll see you through today.

So, with a little patience,

He will make a way.

Check it out....

This week's featured website is of a VERY good friend of mine. She has encouraged me so much and just been such a sweet friend to me.  We have been able to share so much together. I actually was introduced to her by our mutual friend Donna Davis, who is married to Scott Davis, Mark Lowry's best friend. :) Isn't it neat how God works? hee hee. Anyway, I KNOW you will be blessed by her site. Donna Davis, who did her husband's site (www.ScottDavis.com), did Barb's site and did a great job. You can read all about her, and all the things God has taken her through...and how she's been holding on to GOD through it all. She's a real inspiration and I know her story will bless your life. Please keep her in your prayers, too, as she's still going through a lot. SO, check it out... Barbara's website OR http://www.garlic.com/~inchrist/

About my poetry:

We are all on a journey through life. Some of us get lost, some search for the truth, some have found the truth, and sometimes we all need a little "service station" along the way to continue on. These poems were written for that purpose; for those seeking to find life, for those who have it, but need a little lift, for those who have strayed and need directions back, and for those who just need a little encouragement. It is for every day living, experiences, heartaches that lead us to the realization that God is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. I pray my poems minister to your heart, and give you the energy, direction and encouragement that you need. If you ever wished to be removed, please send me an e-mail and I will remove you, no hard feelings. :) God bless.
