HAPPY
MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL YOU INCREDIBLE MOTHERS!!!
Thank
you for all you have done raising us in God's wisdom and love!
This
weeks inspiration:
There's
nothing in the world, nor will there ever be someone quite like a mother
’s
love. It is a love that none other can duplicate. They are a gentle, nurturing
hand. Arms that wrap you in love. Feet that run quickly when you're in need. A
sweet smile to light up your day. A listening ear. Someone to offer advice for a
broken heart, cause she’s been there before. Someone to bandage a scrape, to
kiss away the pain. To be there for you in times of need. In times of struggle,
heartache, frustration, your job, your marriage, your first child, a
miscarriage, your first disagreement. But even better, is a Godly mother. I
could never put into words the love I have for my mother. She is the dearest
person in the world to me, and I could never express how much she means to me. I
wish you all could know her. She is one of the most amazing woman I have ever
known. She has this incredible faith that is so inspiring. She loves telling
others about the Lord, and has no hesitation sharing her faith. She prays when
she goes out that God would show her someone she can share her faith with. And
you know what? She always find that person. She's the kind of person that if you
gave her a paper bag as a gift, she'd make you feel as if you gave her the
world. I was truly given one of God’s most precious gifts when He placed me in
her care. She is the most Spiritual woman you will ever meet. You can ask any of
her friends. They know just who to turn to when they need Spiritual
advice. I also know from experience. I joke around with her and tell her she's
my personal psychiatrist. She is a great listener, and I know she will always
give me Godly wisdom. Even if I am half the mother she has been to me, I will
have succeeded. I hope to pass on to my own children what she has been to me.
She is everything Proverbs 31 says about a Virtuous woman and more. My sister
tells her, "You know, I think God looks down from Heaven, calls His angels
over and says, 'You know, I like that Madeline. She's really special.'" I
agree. (Before I close, I just want to say I can't wait to tell you what an
awesome father I have too!!! I was truly blessed!!) I have always had a very
close relationship with her, and when God decides to take her home, part of me
will go with her. So, while I still have her here, I just want to say...

you, Mom
In the peaceful,
quiet night
I hear you down
the hall.
you open up my
door,
my name you
quietly call.
I quickly shut my
eyes,
and pretend that
I'm asleep.
For I know, before
you go,
you'll gently kiss
my cheek.
But then my arms
reach out to you,
my lips kiss your
cheek too.
I whisper softly
in your ear,
"Mommy, I
love you."
You're my darling,
angel mother,
God placed me in
your care.
And all my life,
it's nice to know,
That you have
always been there.
I know that there
will come a time,
when I must let
you go.
But for now I want
to thank you, mom,
for the ways
you've helped me grow.
I remember sharing
secrets,
how you listened
to every word.
And even though
I'm on my own,
Your wisdom can
still be heard.
You help me
through the rough times,
every problem that
I face.
And you've shown
me how to
always walk in
beauty and in God's grace.
You're my darling,
angel mother,
God placed me in
your care.
And all my life,
it's nice to know,
That you have
always been there.
I know that there
will come a time,
when I must let
you go.
But for now I want
to thank you, mom,
for the ways
you've helped me grow.

This week's
featured website is the Bishops. They are a group I heard on one of the Gaither
videos, and they are fantastic. When you watch them sing, you just feel the love
of God flow through them. They have an incredible family relationship, that is
so evident by the way they are with each other. They have a contagious
enthusiasm that you can't help but notice and want to have. I know you will
really enjoy their website. It's a lot of fun to look through, especially the
pictures. They have a great sense of humor and they will surely make you laugh a
few times. So check it out!!.... The

Prayer
Requests...and Requests
This is a new
feature I've been thinking about starting for a while. If you would like to send
prayer requests or requests for me to include in my newsletters, I would be
happy to put them in. The only problem would be that my newsletters aren't sent
out that often, and that's what stopped me from doing it. Let me know what you
think. We all know the awesome power of prayer!! I experience it every day!! God
is good, and knows what we need when we need it!! The following is from a friend
of mine. If anyone can help her out, please e-mail me with your response...
"I have a
brother who is a minister. Two years ago, he found out he had the early stages
of diabetes (does not need insulin yet). But now he's lost 87 pounds, vomits or
has dry heaves all the time. This makes his blood pressure go up. Drs. can't
seen to find a cause for this. (Modern medicine wow) .............. just maybe
you could find some one who knows a medical person with some knowledge of these
symptoms. I worry about him, but know that God knows what's
happening........"

This is from my
good friend Anita...the one who put "Knowing You" to music and who is
pursuing singing. She is now doing a lot of booking for some Christian artists,
as well as web-editing. She is fantastic and very talented when it comes to

editor to keep their webpage updated whenever they need changes to be made.

The Bible
According to The Children
The following
statements about the Bible were written by children and have not been retouched
or corrected (i.e., bad spelling has been left in).

In the first
book of the Bible, Guinesses, God got tired of creating the world, so he
took the Sabbath off. |

Adam and Eve
were created from an apple tree. |

Noah's wife
was called Joan of Ark because Noah built the ark, which the animals came to
in pears. |

Lot's wife was
a pillar of salt by day, but a ball of fire by night. |

The Jews were
a proud people and throughout history they had trouble with unsympathetic
Genitals. |

Samson was a
strong man who let himself be led astray by a Jezebel like Delilah. |

the Philistines with the axe of the Apostles. |

Hebrews to the Red Sea, where they made unleavened bread, which is bread

commandment was when Eve told Adam to eat the apple. |

The seventh
commandment is "Thou shalt not admit adultery." |

Then Joshua
led the Hebrews in the battle of Geritol. |

The greatest
miricle in the Bible is when Joshua told his son to stand still and he
obeyed him. |

David was a
Hebrew king skilled at playing the liar. He fought with the Finkelsteins, a
race of people who lived in Biblical times. |
|
Solomon, one
of David's sons, had 300 wives and 700 porcupines. |
|
When Mary
heard that she was the mother of Jesus, she sang the Magna Carta. |
|
Then the three
Wise Guys from the East arrived and found Jesus in the manager. |
|
Jesus was born
because Mary had an Immaculate Contraption. |
|
St. John, the
blacksmith, dumped water on his head. |
|
Jesus
enunciated the Golden Rule, which says do one to others before they do one
to you. He also explained that "Man does not live by sweat alone." |
|
It was a
miricle when Jesus rose from the dead and managed to get the tombstone off
the entrance. |

The people who
followed Jesus were called the 12 decibels. |
|
The epistles
were the wives of the apostles. |
|
One of the
opossums was St. Matthew who was also a taximan. |
|
St. Paul
cavorted to Christianity. He preached the holy acrimony, which is another
name for marriage. |
About
my poetry:
We are all on a
journey through life. Some of us get lost, some search for the truth, some have
found the truth, and sometimes we all need a little "service station"
along the way to continue on. These poems were written for that purpose; for
those seeking to find life, for those who have it, but need a little lift, for
those who have strayed and need directions back, and for those who just need a
little encouragement. It is for every day living, experiences, heartaches that
lead us to the realization that God is the only way, the only
truth, and the only life. I pray my poems minister to your heart, and give you
the energy, direction and encouragement that you need. If you ever wished to be
removed, please send me an e-mail and I will remove you, no hard feelings. :)
